What even is reflexology? It’s a gentle, hands-on therapy that uses pressure points in the feet (or hands) to support your nervous system, encourage relaxation, and restore a sense of balance in the body. It’s not foot tickling, and it’s not a full-body massage. But most people say they leave feeling lighter, calmer, and like their body finally got the message that it’s safe to stop.
-
Do I have to take my clothes off?Nope. You stay fully clothed for every treatment. I just need access to your feet or hands (or your head/shoulders for Indian Head Massage). Slippers and a warm jumper are highly encouraged. Pyjamas also acceptable.
-
What if I don’t like my feet being touched? That’s more common than you’d think. I work gently, and never without consent. If you’re unsure, hand reflexology or Indian head massage might be a better starting point. And if we try it and you don’t like it? That’s fine. No hard feelings, no pressure.
-
Can we just sit in silence?Absolutely. There’s no expectation to chat. You can talk if you want. Or not. Or drift in and out. This is your hour — I’m just there to hold the space.
-
What if I fall asleep?Even better. Most people do. It’s the best kind of compliment.
-
Is this suitable if I’m going through something medical? In many cases, yes, I’m trained in gentle reflexology for people living with serious illness, including cancer (Butterfly Touch Method). I don’t diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions, but I can support you alongside other care if it feels right. We’ll go through a short health consultation before your first session to make sure it’s safe and appropriate for you.
-
How do I pay?You can pay by card or cash on the day. Please note: I don’t accept American Express.
-
What’s your cancellation policy? Please give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made after that may not be refunded — life happens, but I work on limited hours.
-
Do you need anything from me on the day?Just a quiet space, somewhere to sit or lie down, and access to the loo. I bring the chair, kit, foot balm, and calm. You don’t need to tidy up. If you have pets, stairs, or limited access, just let me know in advance so I can plan ahead.
-
Can I book for someone else?Absolutely — many clients are booked by family members or caregivers. If it’s a surprise, make sure they’re open to it (nobody likes an ambush treatment). We’ll still need to go through a short consultation before their first session.
